Audio Production

For a basic setup your laptop, a good microphone and a pop-filter will be enough. You can further improve your setup by adding an externel audio interface, studio monitors and some acoustic treatment in your room. Feel free to check out our knowledge base to read more.
If you're on Mac OS we recommend using GarageBand. For Linux and Windows systems you can use Audacity. Other than these feel free to use any software you prefer. It doesn't really matter.
Yes. we can reduce noise up to a sinificant level without sounding bad. But keep in mind that there's a limit we can go and try to record in a silent environment.
Skype calls are usually already processed with noise reduction. Most of the time we will perform only a soft noise reduction on Skype calls. We encourage our clients to record on Skype with highest possible quality and to use Google Hangouts whenever possible which has a Studio Mode that provides clear recordings.
We can handle any audio file format. The most popular ones are MP3, WAV, AIFF, MP4, MOV and WMV.
We like DropBox, Google Drive and OneDrive. You can share a link to your files in our podcaster dashboard.
For audio production we mostly use Adobe Audion, and Steinberg Cubase. We use iZotope RX for noise reduction and restoration related tasks.
